UNOVATE Inaugural Event Highlights Vision for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UniWA

On Thursday, March 20th, 2025, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center UNOVATE of the University of West Attica held its Inaugural Event at the Ancient Olive Grove Campus Conference Center — in front of a full house.

The event marked the official launch of UNOVATE, an ambitious new initiative aiming to establish a dynamic hub for innovation and entrepreneurship within the academic ecosystem of UniWA. During the event, the Center’s vision, strategic goals, and initial actions were presented, outlining its role as a catalyst for creative ideas, skill development, and the promotion of startup culture.

As Deputy Scientific Coordinator of the project and Chair of the Technology Transfer and Startup Entrepreneurship Committee at the University of West Attica, Prof. [Your Name] warmly thanked all participants and speakers for their presence and contributions. Special recognition was given to Vice Rector Petros Kalantonis for his inspiring remarks, and to Nikos Vogiatzis and Stella Ioannidou for their insightful presentations that emphasized the critical role of technology transfer and entrepreneurial innovation.

The event’s success was also thanks to the outstanding organizational efforts of Afroditi Anagnosti and Christina Charitou, in collaboration with Living Prospects Ltd, who ensured a professional and impactful experience for all attendees.

UNOVATE is now officially open — ready to support ideas, cultivate entrepreneurial skills, and connect visionary individuals within and beyond the university community. Stay tuned — this is only the beginning.
