Expanding the results of funded research under Measure 16: Cooperation, Submeasure 16.1 – 16.2: “Establishment and Operation of Operational Groups of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability”, Action 2: “Implementation of the operational plan (project) of the Operational Groups of the EIP for agricultural productivity and sustainability”, CONSERT researchers have designed and implemented a platform which can ensure ensure the authenticity and uniqueness of Greek livestock products by providing full traceability from the animal’s breeding to the final consumer. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain, our solution tracks real-time data from farm animals, including their location, activity, and health. The system leverages wearables on the animals, integrating data collection with a secure blockchain infrastructure that guarantees the integrity and transparency of the entire production chain. Consumers can now verify the origin and quality of their products, creating an unprecedented level of trust and safety in the livestock industry.
